Women's Ministry

The women’s ministry is an organization which utilizes the talents and abilities of women in the congregation for the purpose of spreading and promoting the Gospel message of Jesus Christ through service in areas of worship, outreach to those in need, mission oriented projects, collection of Mite Boxes and Christian fellowship to name just a few. Our programs are affiliated with the local and national Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) and our goal is always “to serve the Lord with gladness!” The organization is open to all the women in the congregation. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month (time varies).

The Sewing Circle puts together Robe and Walker Bag Kits for the local nursing homes and convalescent hospitals. The kits are usually in a basket at the bottom of the stairs. For those who enjoy sewing and have some extra time, the kits take only a few minutes to assemble and bring a lot of joy to the residents and patients who receive them.

Men's Ministry

The primary on-going activity for the men's ministry is the weekly breakfast Bible Study on Mondays at 7 AM at Coco's Restaurant, 605 W. Vista Way @ Melrose.  Check the calendar for confirmation of the event on Monday holidays.  All are welcome to attend any time without advance notice.
