Music
“I will sing to the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.”
- Psalm 104:33
RBTS offers some terrific opportunities to worship through various styles of music. Our two regular Sunday services provide the traditional hymnal music beginning at 8:30 a.m., while our contemporary service music at 10:30 a.m. is led by our Praise Band.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir sings at the 8:30 a.m. service, generally two or three Sundays a month (August-June), and for Christmas, Easter, and special services throughout the year. They perform “traditional” music, as well as other styles (contemporary gospel, spirituals, etc)... Rehearsals are generally every Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Love of singing praise to God, team spirit, and dedication are absolutely necessary!
Praise Band "The Redeemed"

“The Redeemed” is a contemporary music band, consisting of an instrumental band and a group of vocalists. The praise band leads the music for worship on Sunday mornings at the 10:30 a.m. service. They are a band that represents a wide span of age groups, including teens and adults. Each member is passionate about the gift God has bestowed on them, the gift of music. Often music shares the Gospel more successfully than any other form of communication. Each band member is humbled with the privilege given to represent our Lord Jesus Christ through music.
Youth Band
The adult members often combine with the youth for special musical
events.
Music Lessons
Under the umbrella of its contemporary music ministry, Redeemer by
the Sea also offers music lessons to members and to the community.
