- JR Vassar – Pastor/Author (Th.M., Dallas Theological Seminary) serves as Lead Pastor at Church at the Cross in Grapevine, Texas.
- From 2005 to 2013, he served as the founding and lead pastor of Apostles Church in New York City.
- JR and his wife, Ginger, have four children.
- He is the author of Glory Hunger: God, the Gospel, and Our Quest for Something More.

Pine Valley Men’s Conference (http://pinevalleybible.com/events/mens/) is designed to allow men to step out of their current context, encounter Biblical teaching, and interact with other men on the same journey. We provide space for church groups to gather and process as a small group as well as a number of activity and workshop options for men coming on their own. Here are some of the things we seek to excel at:
