    Taunt & Triumph
    Series: (All)
When it comes to our faith, the world in which we live is filled more frequently with taunts than with triumphs. They are far more likely to cry out “If you are the Son of God” (as in Luke 23:35 & 37), rather than “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation” as in Paul’s epistle to the Colossians 1:15. As we turn the page to a new church year, we end the narration of the greatest story in all history, and in so doing we signal the new beginning that story promises all of us. The triumph speaks louder than the taunts!

    WILLPOWER – Worry
    Series: Willpower
Worry is one of the most besetting sins of our age. From whether we will get a raise to how our kids will turn out to what the weather will bring, worry infiltrates every part and portion of our lives. Jesus calls us, instead of trying to control tomorrow, to trust in God today as well as tomorrow. On this All Saints’ Sunday, we are reminded of what our future holds. As people of Christ, we need not worry.?

    WILLPOWER – Laziness
    Series: Willpower
The message of the Reformation, which began with Martin Luther's posting of the 95 Theses on October 31, 1517, really could be summarized with one simple phrase: “Free Gift.”  No longer would consciences be plagued with thoughts of what must be done to be saved.  Rather, hearts and minds would be lifted with the knowledge that salvation is freely given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ!  What a glorious message of hope and freedom!  Contrast that with laziness.  Free Grace does not permit us to be lazy.   No, we have no work to do for our salvation, but much good work to do to show God’s Love to our neighbor.  Yes, we have been freed by grace!  … But freed for what purpose?

    WILLPOWER – LUST
    Series: Willpower
There is no mistaking it: we are a culture that is confused about sex. But before we point our fingers out the sexual confusion “out there” in the world, we must take an honest look at the sexual temptation “in here” – in our hearts. God’s boundaries for human sexuality are not meant to be restricting, but loving. They allow us to model God’s love in our relationships.

    WILLPOWER – ANGER
    Series: Willpower
We all can be overcome by temptation – sometimes over and over again. Often, we try to tackle temptation through sheer willpower. We simply “try really hard” to resist sin. But our own willpower can never overcome sin. Thankfully, God’s will has the power to transform our hearts and change our lives. So, as Christians, when tensions rise, rather than getting angry at others, we are called to be forgiving of others.  Instead of exacting vengeance, we wait for God’s justice.

God Questions- “How do I relate to God?”…
Believing that God exists is one thing. Believing that you, as an individual, can have access to Him is quite another. In this message, we see how anyone, no matter their background, can have a relationship with God – through His Son, Jesus Christ.

    God Questions- Is God GOOD?
Even if someone believes there is a God, they often wonder if He cares about them or for them. Suffering can make us question God’s goodness. The Bible, though it does not answer every question about suffering, is honest about the human struggle with suffering. This is what we see in history’s most famous sufferer – Job. The Question: “Is God Good?” …

GOD QUESTIONS – IS THERE A GOD?
The percentage of people who either believe there is no God, or do not know whether they believe there is a God, is increasing. The Bible assumes God’s existence. But is it plausible for us to believe what the Bible assumes? In this message, we look at some clues that point to God’s existence, beginning with what is all around us.

    Filled…with LIFE
    Series: Filled
We live in a world that saps us and drains us at every turn. If it’s not the demanding work schedule, it’s the cost of living. If it’s not the cut-throat competition, it’s the hair-pulling traffic. And if it’s not strife in the news or on social media, it’s strife in our relationships. Isn’t there something that can fill us up rather than wear us down? Yes there is, but it’s not a something, it’s a Someone. Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10). The enemy wants to destroy your life, but Jesus died to give you life - eternal life! May your life be full in Him.

We find so much hope in this troubled world through the promises of our Savior Jesus. Come and find refuge in Him.

    Put God First
"This" is all about the joy of giving—it's a complete paradigm shift in talking about giving. Walking through this 3-week series, we'll learn how to move from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset. It highlights how generosity and giving are foundational parts of who we are as a Church and as Christians—because of what God did for us, this is what we do. And it begins with putting God first in our lives.  This is what we do.

    GOD
God is God. You’re not. Your favorite (or least-favorite) politician isn’t. Not even Morgan Freeman (of Bruce Almighty fame) can claim that honor. God is God. Cancer isn’t God. Divorce isn’t God. Chronic pain isn’t God. Not even death gets to be God. God is God. And He is all-powerful and utterly unique.  “Come, behold the works of the LORD, how he has brought desolations on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire. ‘Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!’ The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress” (Psalm 46:8-11). Oh how blessed we are to know and be known by our Real. Present. God.
