"This is about mission, not just a building or a project. Every one of us is part of the vision. This is only the beginning..." Matt Johnson, Initiative Chairman

How far might His
light shine through us?
Explore how we're moving from vision to action through
LIFE, LAUNCH, and LEGACY.

Our story began with people who answered God's call to share the light of Christ. That same calling is ours today.
Through LIFE, LAUNCH, and LEGACY, we have an opportunity to put our faith into action—welcoming people, making disciples, and sharing Christ's love far beyond our campus. The true measure of what we accomplish will not be found in the spaces we improve or the resources we raise, but in the lives changed through Christ.

Stories of God touching lives through Redeemer by the Sea...

"One of the greatest blessings of Redeemer by the Sea has been the friendships and relationships I have built along the way. The people in our church have become an important part of my life. Sharing in their joys, supporting one another through difficult times, and working together to serve others have made my church family very dear to my heart. I am truly thankful that Redeemer by the Sea is part of my life, and I pray that I will continue to share my faith, my time, and my love with this wonderful church community for many years to come."
- Hilda K.
"We love our church because the people are genuine and caring and everyone makes you feel welcome and part of a family. The beautiful music touches our hearts and the Sunday sermons inspire us and give us something meaningful to carry through the week.
But most of all it is the kindness and caring people that make it such a special place."
- John and Isabel S.

One day I got a knock on the door... it was the first Pastor of Redeemer who told me a new Lutheran Church was being formed in the area. Fast forward, and my husband and sons and I visited, found it very welcoming, so we continued to attend.  We were involved in the early times when we were still in the building stage of the property, and continued our involvement for a long time. Eventually, we left Redeemer for some time and returned about two years ago. We received a great welcome back from so many members. God bringing us back to Redeemer was much like the welcoming by the father of the prodigal son. There was no judgment or questioning of why we left - only open arms and smiling faces that we had returned. Being a part of Redeemer is being a part of a loving family.

"Redeemer is where my family and I belong. It is a place where we are not just part of the church but truly part of the Redeemer family. It is a place where we can not only worship but also grow in our faith with others."
- Paul O.
"When I had be laid off at my job and was working four part time jobs to make ends meet, I was told about a job opening at Redeemer's preschool. I interviewed and was hired - "someone" was definitely looking out for me. Ten years later I can't thank Redeemer enough for believing in me, or the Lord enough for allowing me to work here. I love my job and it's the happiest place on earth!"
