Men’s Breakfast

Mark your calendars for a Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 6th at 8:30am in the Fellowship Hall.  A time of devotion and prayer will begin at 9am.  Optional work projects at the church or in our community will follow.  Open to all ages!



Job Opening at Concordia University Irvine

Concordia University Irvine seeks qualified candidates for adjunct teaching positions in Communication Studies.  Qualified candidates are professing Christians who hold a graduate degree (MA, MS or PhD) in Communication Study fields and are willing to teach face-to-face or online classes ranging from general education courses in Public Speaking through upper level courses within the Communication Studies major.  Candidates who are interested should complete the application and upload their current resume’ or CV to this website under Communication Studies positions.



Wednesday Women’s Bible Study

Wednesday Women’s Bible Study resumes on Wed. Oct 13th at 9:15 am. In the study “Chasing Vines”, Beth Moore explores the ways God delights in watching things grow―and how the vineyard holds the secret to have a more abundant and meaningful life. As she traces the metaphor through Scripture, to uncover how every part of our own lives―even the rockiest, most difficult soil―is used by God to make a difference for His Kingdom. The books are available in the lobby for $13. 



Donations for Hurricane Ida and Afghanistan Refugees

Based on individual contributions combined with matched mission funds, Redeemer will be sending $2,250 toward Afghanistan refugees and $4,180 toward Hurricane Ida relief. Thank you for your generous support of these efforts!



Upcoming Sermon Series

At the heart of the Reformation movement was a rediscovery of God’s grace. In the series AMAZING GRACE, we take some time to reflect on how amazing God’s grace is and how it can both challenge and change our lives. This two-week series begins on October 24th.

Bell Choir

Our Bell Choir will resume rehearsals on Tuesday, Oct. 5th at 5:30 pm in room 3 at Redeemer by the Sea. This is a beginning bell choir so no prior ringing experience is necessary. However, it is helpful if you know how to read music. Contact Kay with any questions. This group loves to make beautiful music while having fun. You are welcome to join in!


Sunday Morning Youth Ministries

Our 5th through 12th Grade Youth Ministries meet on Sundays at 9:45am

Pre-Confirmation (5th & 6th Grades) taught by Jim Bennett, meets in room 2 and covers “100 Bible Stories” in two years.  This year they will be studying 50 stories from the Old Testament. 

Confirmation (7th & 8th Grades) taught by Jill Rutan, meets in room 3 and teaches Christian doctrine and a Bible overview over two years.  This year they will be studying the six chief parts of the Small Catechism. 

High School (9th through 12th grade) led by Pastor Augie and other leaders uses materials from RightNow Media and the “Live” High School curriculum.  Students discover the value of placing Jesus at the center of everything in their lives.

Sunday School – In Person

Kidz 4 Christ Sunday School has begun the fall session.  However, be sure to check out the dioramas in the lobby showing off the children’s creativity. Each month this summer, two characters from the Bible were highlighted. The children made dioramas about the stories showing each of the characters through a child’s eyes. 

WE ARE CURRENTLY OFFERING IN-PERSON SUNDAY SCHOOL (PRE-K to 4TH) DURING THE 10:45AM SERVICE. Please check in your child in the lobby at the registration table before the service. Then take your child(ren) downstairs for Sunday School. You will pick them up at their classroom following the service.
