Walk Through the Bible: November 4th

WALK THRU THE BIBLE On Sat. Nov. 4th from 9-12 noon join us for a 3-hour, fun, informative, interactive seminar where you will gain a simple understanding of the second half of the Bible known as the New Testament. Job Title: Youth Leader
Position Reports To: Pastor
Pay: $18-22/hour (commensurate with experience and education)
Purpose of Position:
The Youth Leader will create and implement a ministry that offers a relevant, safe, fun environment for
youth, to present and grow faith in Jesus Christ. This will include spiritual formation, outreach, worship, and
mission opportunities for youth that reflects our love for Jesus and His Word.

Wed Women’s Bible Study: Sept. 27th

WEDNESDAY WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: The next study will be “Isaiah” by Melissa Spoelstra. Following God isn’t about striving, it’s about trusting God more. LWM Mtg: Oct 10th

A LIFETIME OF CARE: On Tues. Oct. 10th following the 9:30am business meeting (about 10:15am), Lutheran Women in Mission will host Samara White, from TERI: Training, Education, and Resource Institute. Their mission statement: to change the way the world sees, helps and empowers individuals with special needs. This model program is located in Oceanside and has brought opportunity and hope to countless individuals and families in our area. Join us to learn more.

Holy Hackers Golf Group: Sat. Oct 28th

Dive Deeper Into Thessalonians with RightNow Media

1) How to Read 1 Thessalonians, then How to Read 2 Thessalonians by Tim Mackie. This 7-minute video serves as an introduction to Paul’s visit to Thessalonica with fun illustrations appropriate for the whole family.
2) The Book of First Thessalonians: This 8-video study by Ben Stuart includes a free study guide and shows us that Jesus calls us to live our faith openly, letting the world see our allegiance to him.

KidZone Schedule

Children ages 3-grade 5 will check-in for KidZone in the lobby, but then go into worship with their family. children will be dismissed during the service to KidZone downstairs where they will spend some time with Jesus.
