WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Starting on Wed. Sept. 25^th, Erika Burke will be leading “The Gospel of John” by Melissa Spoelstra. This 7-session study will encourage you to slow down and linger on John’s Gospel. You’ll be challenged to take on the posture of a learner, understanding that the peace Jesus offers is not an ease of circumstances, but a stillness of the soul. This study is held at 9:30am Wednesday mornings in the Fellowship Hall.

On Tues. Oct. 8^th at 10:15am, Luann Goedert will present “The Joy of Creating with Stitches.” All materials will be provided for a hands-on introduction to embroidery.  Come a little early and attend LWM’s business meeting at 9:30am.

We would like to celebrate birthdays in July, August and September of this year by gathering for lunch on Thurs. Oct. 10^th at noon at Dini’s, 3290 Carlsbad Blvd, Carlsbad, CA 92008. HOLY HACKERS: The next golf outing will be on Sat. Oct. 12^th. We play best ball so all levels of golfers are welcome to join. Contact Rhonda if you’d like to play.

LUTHERAN WOMEN IN MISSION ZONE 21 RALLY will be held at Redeemer by the Sea on Sat. Oct. 12^th. Registration is $6 and starts at 9am. The program will begin at 9:30am. The speaker will be Steve Hovelan from Sleep in Heavenly Peace. This organization’s goal is to deliver beds to kids in North County. Please bring new twin-sized bedding: sheets, pillows, pillowcases, blankets, or bedspreads. The day also includes lunch and a basket raffle. Please take advantage of this opportunity by submitting your RSVP to BJ by Oct. 1^st. All are invited to attend.
