This is a life defining and faith shaping event. 12 youth and adults will be attending. If you have not had the opportunity to support these students, you can do so by clicking HERE. All donors will receive updates from the gathering and an invitation to a dinner to hear testimonies from the participants. See the display in the lobby to find out more!

Evening of Prayer

Join members of the Church Council & Elders for a time of prayer on Tuesday April 2nd – 6:30 to 7:30pm in the Sanctuary.  We will spend time in Corporate, Individual and Group Prayer for our ministry and community.  We will also lift our voices together in worship and praise.  Contact: Pastor Augie

Lent Devotionals

Centuries before Christ, God was preparing the way for His Son’s arrival. From mankind’s original sin through the children of Israel’s on-again, off-again obedience, God was faithful, honoring his promise to Eve (Genesis 3:15), which first pointed to Jesus. In People of the Passion, you will see God working through the lives of ordinary people to achieve His ultimate aim; our salvation.  If you would like to read, or listen to, these devotions during Lent, you can do so at Lutheran Hour Ministries. Printed copies will also be available in the lobby.

Family Dinners

Let us do the cooking! Before the Wednesday evening Lent services we will be having Family Dinners at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. A freewill offering will support our Youth Ministry. Each week we will have a different theme, including a Salad Bar, Burrito Bar, Baked Potato Bar, Picnic Cookout, and a Pasta Night. Dates are March 13-April 10. Join us!

Baptism Class

Do you know someone who missed the last baptism class? Pastor Augie will be holding the next baptism preparation class on Saturday, March 16th at 10am.  This is a no obligation instructional class, and a great way to get questions answered and find out if baptism is for you.  Why not invite your friends and attend with them? Contact Rachelle in the office to register.

Easter Lilies

All praises to Christ our King!  As we look forward to celebrating Christ’s resurrection, it is time to start planning for the day.  Again, we will be ordering Easter lilies to decorate our church.   The cost is $8.00 each.  If you wish to donate money to fund this part of the celebration, make your check payable to Redeemer by the Sea and note that it is for Easter lilies.  After the last Easter service, you may pick up your lily.  Thank you in advance for your participation! Contact Di Haarmeyer for more information.
