Ending the Scarcity Cycle
How do we inoculate ourselves against the scarcity mindset? How do we decide to live with the abundance mindset that reminds us God is more than enough? In this message, we find out how to stop the scarcity cycle using three principles of provision and how to stay positive through faith in God!

My Next Step(s): ○ I will starve my scarcity mindset and feed my abundance mindset. ○ I will not diminish what I have, but instead offer it to the Lord. ○ I will trust God to do something extravagant through what seems insignificant. ○ I will “pour” because I belong to the God of “more.”

    Get Your Passion Back
Spiritual enthusiasm is contagious. If you’ve lost your passion, it’s time to get it back! Remember, it’s not what you do that makes it meaningful, it’s who you do it for. If you need a reminder of the passion you once had, Week 5 of “Stay Positive” can help! My Next Step(s): - I will feed my enthusiasm (in the Spirit) and starve my apathy. - I will serve with enthusiasm, as if serving the Lord in all that I do. (Colossians 3:23) - I will find meaning in my work, not in what I am doing, but who I am doing it for. - I will trust, walk with, and worship God daily.

    A Spirit-Filled Church
    Series: (All)
Jesus promised to give the Holy Spirit to His disciples after He returned to His Father.  That promise is fulfilled at Pentecost.  Acts Chapter 2 records this amazing one-time experience that took place in Jerusalem 50 days after Jesus celebrated the Passover with His Disciples. And yet, each of the members of Christ’s Body, the Church, receives the Holy Spirit even today through faith and baptism.  What does it mean to be “Spirit-filled” and how does the indwelling of the Holy Spirit affect us as individuals, and as a church? My Next Step(s): - I will not resist the Holy Spirit in my life, but rather seek to hear His voice and follow His leading. - I will witness boldly about what Christ has done for me. - I will discover my Spiritual Gift(s) and use it/them for the common good. - I will live a Spirit-filled, holy life, set apart and dedicated to God’s glory.

    Maintaining Hope
How do we remain hopeful in a world that seems hopelessly broken? How do we continue to trust a God that seems conspicuously absent? How do we find peace in a world that is spinning out of control? If you've ever asked questions like these, you're not alone. The uncertainty we face today is no different from the uncertainty faced by the men and women of the Bible. And like them, uncertainty can cause us to question God's faithfulness, His presence and His concern. What or whom you are hoping in determines your ability to maintain hope.  Our hope is in God’s love for us.  When life is uncertain, God is not. He’s *still* got the whole world in his hands. My Next Step(s): ○ I will examine the frustrations in my life to determine on what I’ve built my hopes. ○ I will take comfort in knowing that nothing in all creation can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus. ○ I will place my hope in Christ Jesus my Lord.

    Peace Through Prayer

How do we remain hopeful in a world that seems hopelessly broken? How do we continue to trust a God that seems conspicuously absent? How do we find peace in a world that is spinning out of control? If you've ever asked questions like these, you're not alone and you're not the first. The uncertainty we face today is no different from the uncertainty faced by the men and women of the Bible. And like them, uncertainty can cause us to question God's faithfulness, His presence and His concern. When life is uncertain, God is not. He’s *still* got the whole world in his hands. Pray until the peace comes.

    My Next Steps:
    - I will reflect on God’s goodness and mercy in my life until my emotions catch up with that reality.
    - I will present my deepest fears, worries and desires to the Lord in prayer.
    - I will invite Almighty God to guard my heart in Christ Jesus.
    - I will rejoice IN THE LORD, rather than waiting for my circumstances to change first.i

    Uncertainty is Nothing New
How do we remain hopeful in a world that seems hopelessly broken? How do we continue to trust a God that seems conspicuously absent? How do we find peace in a world that is spinning out of control? If you've ever asked questions like these, you're not alone and you're not the first. The uncertainty we face today is no different from the uncertainty faced by the men and women of the Bible. And like them, uncertainty can cause us to question God's faithfulness, His presence and His concern. In this 3-part series, we're reminded that . . . He's *Still* Got the Whole World in His Hands.

    Don’t Go There!
    Series: Why Worry
Worry—it's universal. Yet Jesus said, “Don't worry!” Easier said than done. In this 3-part series, we explore what Jesus had to say about worry. We learn where worry comes from, why it's so difficult to overcome, and what you can do to conquer it. It's particularly relevant for this time in which we find ourselves.  In today’s message we hear God whisper to Elijah, “What are you doing here?”  When we turn to worry, we blind ourselves from seeing God’s faithfulness in the past and from trusting Him in the future.  When it comes to worry - just don’t go there.

My Next Step(s): ○ I will recount God’s faithfulness in my past. ○ I will make (and keep) a list of the ways that God has worked in my life. ○ Instead of running in fear, I will trust in God and go where He has called me. ○ I will choose not to worry about tomorrow.

    Series: (All)
Happy Easter! Christ the Lord is Risen Today - Alleluia! In spite of some of the Christians you’ve met or done business with, in spite of revivals and scandals, in spite of how you view the Bible, and in spite of your church experience, you should consider putting your faith in Jesus as your Savior. Series: Soul Keeping
Outwardly, growth looks like numbers.  On Palm Sunday, Jesus had lots of numbers in the form of huge crowds!  Inwardly, however, God can grow the soul through struggle, as what happened to Jesus demonstrates .  My Next Step(s): ○ I will recognize that God is more concerned with my soul than anything else in my life. ○ I will bring all of my concerns to the Lord in prayer rather than live in fear. ○ I will trust that God is growing me through hardship and challenge. ○ I will grow by follow the Lord’s example of giving, loving and serving.
